The X~Suite stock control system has multi-company, multi-warehouse/depot capability and, at each warehouse, can show the contents of multiple stock locations and/or ‘supply lots’ for the same product. This set up facilitates ‘lot traceability’ and serial number tracking. It is equally happy in simpler single enterprise, single warehouse environments (in this situation you start small and X~Suite grows with you). X~Suite is not just a stock recording system; it helps you resolve problems during normal activities. For example if, when processing a receipt against a purchase order, it senses that there is a job/order awaiting the item being processed, it will inform the user and ask if the items are to issued through to the shortage. For users of the X~Suite manufacturer’s facilities, it also supports back flushing of stock from works order completion bookings. X~Suite stock control also caters for quarantining of stock; either as part of the goods inwards process or at any other time when certain items need to be segregated and taken out of the available total. Active re-ordering facilities allow replenishment orders, based upon rules to suit your requirements, to be launched without the need to re-key all of the details. Wall to wall stock checks can be a nightmare so X~Suite stock control includes many options such as perpetual counting and the optional handheld stock checking system Pstock-Checker to help keep stock accuracy at a high level. Other options that can massively improve the accuracy of stock figures are our facilities for mobile picking systems including radio frequency (RF) and voice operated units.
Of course
X~Suite
stock control also has full reporting of stock movements,
usage history and stock valuation but it also includes excellent active available
to promise (ATP) facilities.
X~Suite does not expect you to search through all of your data to find the really important facts. System Alerts is a facility that enables you to set up rules about exceptional circumstances and identify who to alert by email. For example email the stock controller if perpetual inventory stock checks are overdue etc. |
