PSALES-REP - The Mobile Handheld Ordertaking System
Psales-Rep is a handheld order taking system
for use by mobile sales reps on the
road or at exhibitions. Any pocket PC hand held device with integral barcode reader
maybe used to capture
sales order information quickly and efficiently,
allowing the sales
rep
to concentrate on the customer rather than the process.
Typically the Rep will have a bar-coded price list from whichproduct codes can be
read or codes can be entered.
Stock availability (this can now be 'real time'
from
your HQ server) is shown and items entered
may be amended, deleted
or
added to.
A running total of order value is displayed and when complete the Rep may print an order
acknowledgement and, either immediately or at the end of the day,
transmit the orders back to base via a telephone line or the internet.
